Corporate Summary: History

Digital Imaging Resources was founded in 1990 with the vision of leading the engineering and architectural market away from traditional blueprinting and towards a full range of value-added digital services. Our services have evolved rapidly over the past four years: we initially pioneered digital blueprinting services in the Chicago area and are currently moving into a full range of on-line project collaboration, bidding, and distribution services for the A&E market. Digital Imaging Resources' core focus is just that--digital imaging.

Digitally oriented skills and training are one of our unique strengths; our staff has always been formally trained in AutoCad, Reprodesk, networking, and other computer skills when coming on board with us. Our customers have always turned to us for digital answers for their design systems, from early versions of AutoCad up to AutoCad 2000, and other design platforms. As a result of training and hands-on troubleshooting, we possess a "digital mindset" not found in any other service bureau in Chicago.
